OneCoast.com Feature Updates: Buy Again (Quick Reordering)

Hello Summer!  We’re ushering in the bright, sunny weather with a new custom feature for our loyal OneCoast.com retailers> It’s called Buy Again.  Buy Again is a quick and easy re-order feature that allows you to easily add SKUs to your shopping cart based on your past online orders.

How does it work?

When you’re logged into your OneCoast.com account, go to My Account by clicking the link at the top of the site.

 

 

Use the View button to see details for a past order.

On the My Account page, click Web Order History in the side bar.  And, select the View button by any of your past web orders.

 

 

 

 

The Buy Again button is located at the bottom.

The Web Order Detail page will appear for that past order.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Buy Again button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select SKUs to reorder.

 

 

Once you click on the Buy Again button, a pop-up window will appear with all available SKUs from your previous order.  Place a checkmark by any SKU you want to add to your shopping cart; then, click the Add to Cart button.  The SKUs will be added to your shopping cart and you can update quantities from your cart!

OneCoast.com Feature Updates: Shop with My Rep

This month, I’ve got an exciting new custom feature for all of our online shoppers! By now, you’ve probably noticed the Shop with My Rep window that appears when you are logged into your OneCoast.com account.

Now, you can easily connect with your Territory Managers (TM) while you’re shopping online.  Perhaps you have a product question or you would like them to review your order before you checkout!  The Shop with My Rep window allows you to easily reference your TM’s contact info.  Plus, the Contact Me links takes you to a form so you can email your TM directly.

Click the Collegiate Territory Manager(s) link located at the bottom of the window to toggle the view for your collegiate TMs!

You can toggle the window open or close by clicking on the green bar at the top of the window.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Disable this Feature

 

And, if you prefer to turn this feature off.  Go to My Account by clicking the link at the top of the page.

 

 

 

On the My Account page, click User Preferences in the sidebar.  Then, uncheck Enable Shop with My Rep Window.  And, click the Update button.  (You can come back at anytime and turn it back on too!)

Newest shopping cart features on OneCoast.com

Quick Add by SKUs

Do you have a list of SKUs and you need to place an order?  You can quickly add them using our newest function “Add Products by SKU”!

Quickly add items to your shopping cart by entering in SKUs!

Go to “My Cart” on OneCoast.com. Scroll down and click the “Add Products by SKU” button.

 

 

 

 

Then, select the vendor and enter the SKU number.

Select the vendor & enter a single SKU or multiple SKUs separated by commas.

(Tip: You can add multiple SKUs separated by commas shown in the example below.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Click the “Add Valid Items” button to add the SKUs to your shopping cart.

Check any invalid SKUs & click the “Add Valid Items” button to add the valid SKUs to your cart!

 

  • The website validates the SKUs and lets you know of any issues, like, an incorrect SKU number.
  • By default, the minimum quantity for each valid SKU will be added.  You can adjust quantities in your shopping cart before you checkout.

 

 

 

Print Cart

Are you working on a re-order and need to double-check your inventory in your stock room?  Print a copy of your shopping cart as a handy reference!

Go to “My Cart” on OneCoast.com.  Scroll down to click the “Print All” button.

The shopping cart “Print All” button allows you to print a printer-friendly copy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Share Cart

Want to send a copy of your cart to yourself, your Territory Manager or store manager?

Email a copy of your vendor cart using the “Share Cart” link.

Go to “My Cart” on OneCoast.com. Click the “Share Cart” link located in each vendor’s cart section.

 

 

 

Select the recipient(s) to email your cart

 

You’ll see a pop-up window to select your recipient(s).  You can choose between:

  • Yourself – When you select this option, it’ll email your cart to the email you provided for your OneCoast.com account.
  • Your Territory Managers – The site will automatically display your territory manager for the specified vendor cart.  All you need to do is edit your message and send to your TM!
  • Any Contact(s) – You can enter one or more email addresses to send a coy of your cart to any recipient.  Just be sure to separate each email address with a comma (e.g. buyer1@mystore.com, buyer2@mystore.com)

Update: OneCoast.com

Earlier this year, OneCoast completely overhauled their website, OneCoast.com, with a refreshed design and a re-engineered browsing and shopping experience for our customers and website visitors.  Since then, we’ve been busy improving existing features and adding new features to our website.

Here’s a recap of the latest enhancements to OneCoast.com!

Search

Quickly search and browse products for your store.  Our engineers took a look under the “hood” of our search engine and have made adjustments so that your product searches are now rip-roarin’ fast.

Did you know that we also have Advanced Search features?  You can filter your product searches by vendor or even by the date products were added to our website.  My favorite is the option to “Search product descriptions”.  Check out Advanced Search.

My Account

We brought back the order history functionality with a few improvements!  In its current version, this feature will display your past online orders you have purchased via OneCoast.com.  Also, we’re working on integrating all of your orders, including show orders, into your order history for a future release.

When you are logged into your OneCoast.com account, you can go to My Account > Web Order History to view a list of your web orders including their status.  Click on any View button to see the details related to that web order.

Read this NOW! Include Call to Actions in YOUR Marketing!

As an independent retailer, you wear a lot of hats.  It’s time to put on your “Marketing” hat and learn more about calls to action.  Including a call to action or CTA creates a stronger marketing campaign and can yield more bang for your buck by highlighting what it is you want your audience to do.  CTAs nudge your audience in an immediate, clear, and actionable direction towards engaging with your marketing efforts!

What is a call to action?

In marketing, a call to action (CTA) is an instruction to the audience to provoke an immediate response, usually using an imperative verb such as “call now”, “find out more” or “visit a store today”. – Wikipedia

A few things to keep in mind…

  • Keep your CTAs simple.  This isn’t rocket science.  Make it easy for your audience to interact with your marketing.
  • Keep your CTAs clear.  Heed your English teacher’s advice.  Use an active voice not a passive voice.  Use action verbs in your CTAs.

      • Call for details
      • Learn more
      • Visit today
      • Sign up for a FREE gift
      • Tell us what you think
      • Share with friends
      • Start survey
  • Emphasize your CTAs in your marketing so they stand out.   Make it colorful! Bold it! Make it bigger!     Use a button
  • Test your CTAs with your audience.  What’s the right CTA for your audience?  How many CTAs should you include?  What should your CTA look like?   The only way to know what works for your audience is to test, test and test some more.  You’ll have better results and your customers will appreciate your efforts.  Think of your store’s marketing as a perpetual work in progress.  What works today may not work tomorrow; even our marketing team is constantly testing and tweaking our campaigns in order to put the most relevant and engaging content in front of our audience.
